Three names, two different kinds of business
| Name | What it is | How you buy |
|---|---|---|
| Joybuy | JD.com's own online shop for Europe | Directly, like any online shop, with local delivery |
| JoyaBuy | A shopping agent (name linked to Joyagoo) | Through the agent, from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 |
| Joyagoo | A shopping agent, formerly JoyaBuy | Through the agent, from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 |
The confusion is understandable: one letter separates Joybuy from JoyaBuy, and spreadsheet creators often shorten names in video captions. But they work in completely different ways, and mixing them up means looking for the wrong thing.
The quickest way to tell them apart is to look at what the link opens.
Joybuy is a shop; JoyaBuy and Joyagoo are agents.
Joybuy: JD.com's European shop
JD.com, one of China's largest retailers, launched Joybuy in the UK, Germany and France in March 2026. Unlike the agent route, Joybuy holds stock in local warehouses and delivers quickly within those countries. You browse, pay and receive the parcel as with any European online shop, with local returns and consumer rights.
That means a "Joybuy spreadsheet" in the agent sense doesn't really exist for JD's Joybuy. There are no Taobao links to convert, no warehouse QC photos and no international shipping to arrange. If you came here looking for JD's shop, you can buy there directly.
For JD's Joybuy, buy directly; no spreadsheet or agent is needed.
What most "Joybuy spreadsheets" really are
On TikTok and in link-in-bio pages, "Joybuy spreadsheet" usually labels a spreadsheet built for the JoyaBuy or Joyagoo agents. You can tell by the links: they open item pages on an agent's site, often with a referral code, and the products come from Taobao, Weidian or 1688. These are normal agent spreadsheets with a shortened name.
- Check the link's domain. An agent domain means it's an agent sheet; a Joybuy domain means JD's shop.
- Look for the item number in the link. Agent sheets always carry a marketplace item ID.
- Note referral codes. They are common on creator sheets and pay the creator when you sign up.
If the link opens an agent's product page, it's a JoyaBuy or Joyagoo sheet, not JD's Joybuy.
JoyaBuy and Joyagoo: one agent or two?
Our September 2026 agent data records JoyaBuy as renamed to Joyagoo, and Joyagoo's reviewers write things like "Joyagoo aka JoyaBuy". At the same time, some creators publish comparisons of "Joyagoo vs Joyabuy" as if they were separate agents, and sites using both names still circulate. We can't fully settle that from public information. The practical advice is the same either way: check the exact domain before logging in or paying, and judge each order on its QC photos. Our Joyagoo page covers its terms, including 90 days of free storage and free HD QC photos.
Treat the two names carefully and always confirm the domain you pay on.
Using a JoyaBuy or Joyagoo sheet with any agent
- Copy a link from the sheet.
- Paste it into the link converter, which extracts the Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item number and builds an Oopbuy link.
- Check the listing still matches the sheet: photos, price and variants.
- Look up recent QC photos before ordering; see the QC guide.
The item numbers in any Joy-named sheet work at every agent.
Buying from JD's Joybuy: what to check
Because Joybuy sells from local warehouses in the countries where it operates, buying there is closer to using a European online shop than an agent. A few checks still make sense:
- Who the seller is. Check whether an item is sold by Joybuy itself or by a third-party seller on the platform.
- Where it ships from. Items in local warehouses arrive faster and avoid import charges; items shipped from abroad may not.
- Returns. Online purchases from EU and UK sellers generally come with a legal right to withdraw within a set period. Read Joybuy's returns page for the exact terms.
- Prices. Local stock and fast delivery are built into the price, so comparable items can cost more than on Taobao through an agent.
Joybuy trades price for speed and local returns; check seller and shipping origin.
Why these names keep getting mixed up
Spreadsheet culture runs on short captions, hashtags and quick links, so names get abbreviated or misspelled. JoyaBuy's rename to Joyagoo added to the confusion, and JD's choice of "Joybuy" for its European launch landed right next to both. Search engines then mix pages about all three. If a page or video doesn't show which domain it's talking about, assume nothing and check the link before acting on it.
When names look alike, the domain in the link is the only reliable clue.
Which route should you use?
- You want fast local delivery from a big retailer: JD's Joybuy, where it operates.
- You want items from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 sellers: a shopping agent, such as Joyagoo or Oopbuy.
- You have an old JoyaBuy sheet: convert its links and check they still work.
